Who: Robin and Temple What: Kidnapped and trapped When: Today Where: Away from Everett Warnings: Um all of them Note: Robin and Temple are going missing for a few days
Robin didn't have to open her eyes to feel a very strong wave of nausea threaten to overtake her. There was an ache radiating all throughout her skull, making her stay very still as she tried to figure out what the hell had happened. Her mind felt like it was clouded by a fog that was too thick to see through, but slowly she tried to focus and tried to go through exactly what had happened. Last she remembered, she hadn't been drinking, so why in the hell was his head throbbing the way that it was? The morning had been normal enough. Robin checked in on Penny like she had been lately, and in her stop to the cafeteria she had overheard Sarah mentioning something about going out for a quick raiding trip downtown. Robin usually wasn't the type to volunteer hanging out with someone as young as Sarah, but she also needed to go out to get a few things, so she had agreed to go. She wouldn't be gone long, she had assured Penny, and had even promised Lorne to bring him something new for his kitchen. Things had been fine. Everett was quiet, but it was also cold, so she hadn't given it much thought to the whole thing. Hell, if anything, she just enjoyed being able to be out at least for a little while, and she had even managed to find new old magazines for Penny, and a few new kitchen supplies for Lorne. She had been about to turn back to look for Sarah when she noticed footsteps coming from behind her, and then everything had just gone dark.
The memory of it made her finally open her eyes, but she flinched as the fluorescent light hit her eyes. The bulb looked like it was going to die out soon, or maybe it just wasn't installed well, but the light was sufficient to make Robin's headache worse and she had to squint for a moment to try and get her eyes to focus. Except, as she did so, she noticed that the floor she was looking at was completely foreign to her, and that alone shot a sense of alarm right through her. She wasn't in the store that she and Sarah had been pilfering, and she sure as hell wasn't in her cell. She wasn't even in the infirmary. What the hell...
It was then that she noticed. She should have noticed sooner, and maybe her aching head was to blame for how her brain was slow on the uptake, but it was then that she realized she was standing, but not by her own accord. Her wrists were bound together and raised above her, her shackles secured on the ceiling and holding her up. Her ankles were bound tightly with rope, her feet barely managing to touch the ground so that, if she tried to move, her arms would essentially be left alone to bear her weight. Oh God, what the fuck was going on? She could feel a sense of desperation begin to take over, but she pushed it back as much as she could while trying to pull at her binds as if that way they would somehow loosen up. As if, by doing so, the chains that were keeping her hanging would somehow break free.
Her efforts were put on hold, though, when Robin turned to look around and noticed that there were other people there with her. Women. They were all women, some that looked like just girls, tied up. Some were hanging from the ceiling just like her, others against support beams or poles. A few of them were watching her, as if this was a regular occurrence for them, and some just stared in horrified silence since they were unable to talk due to the tape over their mouth. Was this... Her lungs threatened to stop working for a moment as it hit her they were trapped. Fuck. Fuck, they were trapped.
Sarah. Her name was suddenly all she could think about, and she tried to look around as best as she could to see if she was there with her as well. "Sarah?" Her voice sounded grainy, the noise almost foreign even to her, but she cleared her throat and whispered loudly, as if this way it wouldn't draw out the bastard responsible for this. First she had to make sure that Sarah was okay. "Sarah, can you hear me?"
