Destiny smiled at her and immediately refilled Fred's glass with wine. She passed the joint back over to her before she blew her own cloud into the living room. "Learn from the past, don't live in it. Very good words to live by but easier said than done for many people." She gave Fred a neutral look. She didn't mean to sound discouraging but there was a reason that Fred was here and worrying about the aftershocks. She truly hoped that Fred could find a way to let go of her death and make peace with it. Maybe one day she would.
"C'mere." Destiny took the joint from Fred and inhaled on it deeply before leaning forward and pressing her mouth to Fred's. Her lips parted, her tongue parting Fred's lips as she blew the marijuana smoke straight into Fred's mouth. The kids called this shotgunning. Destiny just called it a lot of fun with a pretty girl. She gave a little grin as she pulled away so Fred could blow out her own puff of smoke.
"I have snacks. I say we get really high and really drunk and see where the night takes us." Destiny smirked and twisted a strand of Fred's wavy dark hair around one finger. She had no clients for the rest of the night and was planning on just relaxing and unwinding. Hanging out with Fred was a lot better than spending her night with the spirits like she had planned on.
She took another sip of her wine and put the glass back on the coffee table. She nodded at Fred to kill the joint they were already smoking so she could roll another perfect spliff on the coffee table. Destiny had learned to roll a joint when she was fifteen and it had only take about a week to perfect the art of it.
