Destiny nodded in agreement. She occasionally also got the urge to wander. She would usually go towards the lake and The Nemeton. The power center drew her towards it, she couldn't help it. She didn't like to wander the forest because of the zombies but she usually had a pretty good idea of where they would be and avoided those places. Her gifts didn't make her immune to zombie bites unfortunately.
She really zeroed in and paid attention when she started talking about solving problems and equations. Those were very important elements to Fred's personality. She listened carefully to the other woman. She was still casually lounging on the couch, enjoying the company and relaxing with the heady smell of marijuana and burning sage in the air and the wine starting to loosen her tongue.
"You came to the right place. Do you think that's a coincidence?" Destiny's eyebrows both raised as she gave Fred a pointed look. She lived in a very strange world, Fred Burkle did. She had to constantly straddle the line between science and the supernatural. Destiny was glad she didn't have a burden like that. But there was a reason why Fred had ended up at Destiny's cabin tonight.
She sat up and gave Fred a serious look. "There's no equations to solve in magic. It's more like a ripple effect. How would you look at a ripple effect scientifically?" she asked Fred curiously. "You can connect that to what happened with the spell that Bonnie used to bring you back. She threw a giant rock into the universe and there were ripples. But ripples dissipate eventually. They stop. It's over."
