Just another day. It sounded a lot like something she or one of the gang would have said back when they all lived at the Hyperion. When they took the jobs at Wolfram and Hart a lot of things changed after a while, but fighting demons and saving the world? That was nothing but your average day at Angel Investigations. Fred really missed those days.
"I know how that feels." She said and smiled. "After all of this I think I'd get bored if we actually lived normal lives." Not to say she didn't think about it sometimes, but she'd passed on a normal life a long time ago. She made the decision to stay in Los Angeles instead of going back to Texas with her parents after returning from Pylea. Sure, she probably wouldn't have died but then again maybe she would have some other way because even though Angel was the hero and Fred struggled initially figuring out where she fit in, she knew she'd helped on some of the big things. Would they all be worshiping Jasmine right now instead of dodging zombie bites if she hadn't tried to get the blood out of that shirt?
Destiny's offer of the joint broke Fred from thoughts of the past. Thoughts she'd been having a lot of ever since she came back from the dead partially because a part of her still lived there. She'd missed so much time while she was dead.
"Actually, I do." With a grin, she took the joint and inhaled. Wow this was good stuff. She couldn't remember the last time she'd had a good smoke but she soon realized what she'd been missing. One more drag and she handed the joint back over.
"Thanks. It's been a long time even before I died, but just like riding a bike, yeah?"
