"No, DON'T!" The words were roared out as the piece of metal pierced through her skin, and he moved towards her to try to stop her.
As he did so, though, he saw the tremble of her hand, and he felt his heart lodge itself in his throat as he stared at her in anticipation. Was that her? She was fighting, of course she was fighting because he knew she wouldn't give up, and the intensity of his anger towards the thing controlling her only grew. It made him see red, and it pissed him off even more when it teased about how long she'd keep fighting.

When Rogue's body landed back down on the ground, Logan immediately posed himself for a fight and used his enhanced reflexes to avoid full contact beyond blocking the hits. Logan had seen her fight before and kept that in mind as he tried to anticipate each move, but Rogue knew him as well and it probably helped in their attack. Logan didn't let up, and as tempted as he was to hurt the thing hurting Rogue, he refused to hurt her. Because it was still her body, and--
A kick caught him off guard, and he stumbled back. Finding his footing, using his claws to dig them into the ground to slow himself down, he snarled and his mind went blank with rage. Just as she neared him for another attack, though, he waited until the last minute as if she had finally caught him off guard before he did a leg sweep to knock her down. "Tired yet?"
