Their eyes narrowed in impatience and irritation when Logan refused to comply. "No? Then let's go with the second option, shall we?" Without hesitation, they placed the jagged edge at the side of Rogue's throat and started to draw it across pale skin.
Stop!
Their hand immediately paused and began to tremble as a frustrated look crossed over Rogue's face. The jagged engine piece scratched the hell out of her skin but it was nowhere near as serious as their original intent had been. The damn girl didn't know when to quit.
You're not going to force him into this, I won't let you. Rogue knew that there was no way she could regain full control but she didn't need to. When she'd managed to loosen their hold on the scrap metal, she'd quickly realized that it was a heck of a lot easier to concentrate on making a body part move.
Their hold on the engine piece slackened completely and it fell out of their hand with a frustrated sound. "Nice trick, how long do you think you can keep it up before you're too tired to even think?"
As long as I have to.
Their gaze zeroed in on Logan and they let out a slow breath as they silently pushed back Rogue's influence. "We'll see about that." Self harm wasn't an option but with their new found strength, there was still a good chance of forcing Logan into giving them what they wanted. After all, they'd made it easy on Rogue when all she had to do was make them drop the piece of metal. How easy would it be to stop them if they focused on fighting Logan?
They quickly dropped down on the street and didn't pull their punches. He expertly dodged each blow but it didn't stop them. After each block, they threw another punch, another kick. Logan was fast but it was only a matter of time before he slipped up.
