The wait and see game to check just how much she believed him made him impatient, but he didn't show it beyond the twitch of his fingers as if tempted to reach for a new syringe. More toxins. More toxins would do the trick. He had once been very patient, willing to let his victims take their time in breaking because ultimately they always did, but ever since his own psychotic break with the toxins that Batman had used on him they had changed a few things. Not that Crane would wver admit it, or be okay with it, but he could feel that eagerness get the best of him. He could feel it threatening to burst to the surface and ruin his plan from earlier to wait before pumping her with more drugs. He just wanted to push a little further. Just a little bit more.
Before the temptation was too much to withstand, though, there was a reaction. She could hear something, and Crane almost laughed in delight. Or, as close to delight as someone like Crane could get.
"Why would you want her in here? To see you like this?" He pulled on the restraints, as if to remind her of her current predicament. He paused, though, watching her for a moment. "And besides... She's waiting her turn. You didn't think you're the only person playing this game, did you?"
