Watching the shift in her was fascinating. The way that her features hardened, and the way her tone changed altogether. It made him remember her 'conversations' last night, when he had found her, and he wondered if this was some sort of manifestation of her mutation. He wasn't sure exactly who she was seeing, or even what had brought out this new attitude in her, but Crane just watched it all. Later on, when the girl went back to sleep, he would document all of it so he just kept his eyes on her to catch everything.
"Is that what you're afraid of?" Crane teased. Taunted, even. "Are you afraid of being normal? Of being a human?" She had mentioned something about burning the place down, and he narrowed his eyes slightly as he wondered if that was another power she had. Hurting people by touch, and fire? His eyes ventured down towards her hands, but it was hard to tell where to focus or even guess exactly what was going on with her.
Still, it didn't stop him from wanting to find out. "I'm not going to untie you. Not until you tell me who you are, and what you can do. You're 'better,' right?" He paused, as if trying to figure out something. "If you're better...how is it that I don't know who you are?"
Reaching forward, he grabbed her by the neck again, turning her attention back to him. "So, tell me. I know you want to show off."
