There were times when Crane used violence in order to make things more real for his victims, but with the girl he had here now he knew that he didn't have to. The horror in her face told him as much, and he just watched her as she carried on a conversation with someone that wasn't there. Her mother, from the sounds of it, and he just let her continue.
His eyes drifted towards the cart of the other drugs he had ready to go, and as she whispered that she tried to get away, Crane stepped away quietly. Long enough to prepare a new syringe, but he didn't use the fear toxins again. It was a hallucinogen that would strengthen the potency of what was already on her system. It was just a touch of it, enough to give her a bad trip without making her lose her mind completely just yet, but he wanted to try it. He wanted to see her endurance to it, and see how she'd come out of it in the end. He wanted to know how much more he could unravel her.
"It wasn't good enough, was it?" He asked, this time quietly. Almost understanding, as if to make her trust him. "You try to stay away, you try to not hurt them, but look what it has gotten you. Look what it did to Logan, and Laura. Is that what you wanted? Because you couldn't stop it. You can never stop it."
Injecting the hallucinogen into her arm, he shushed her before she could protest. "I'm just trying to help you. Can't you see that? I'm trying to help you understand."
