When: Tonight
Where: Fangtasia
Warnings: Language for sure with these two
Tara couldn't help but be excited to see that her cousin was in Everett. Lafayette was a witch of sorts but still not the sort that Tara expected to survive an apocalypse. She had gone back to Bon Temps to look for him and Sookie and Jason before she had ultimately met up with Serena and left town to try and find her maker. Chances were good that Sookie would make it because she had her fairy blast and also every vampire in town wanted to own her which made her both constantly in danger and the most well protected bitch in town. Jason was a cop so he at least had the weapons going for him but Lafayette was just a guy. A fabulous guy who talked to dead people but just a guy all the same. Of the three of them Tara thought that her cousin had the lowest survival chance.
She was happy to see him on the network even if things had been shaky between them in the past. Sookie and Lafayette were the reason that Tara was a vampire. Tara hated vamps and everyone knew it. She hated the way that Bill and Eric treated Sookie. Then Franklin the psycho vampire had kidnapped and raped her and would have succeeded in killing her if Jason hadn't been in the right place at the right time. Tara hated vampires but she loved her friends. Jumping in between the gun and Sookie had been a natural instinct for Tara. She would die for her best friend. She hadn't expected her best friend and her cousin to beg Pam to turn her into a vampire and try to save her. Tara resented the two of them for a long time for that but not anymore. Tara had adjusted to being a vampire now and even liked it. And whatever was between her and Pam was real whether Pam liked to admit it or not. Tara wasn't angry at her loved ones for trying to save her anymore. She was just glad they were still alive.
She wasn't working the bar that night but she was helping out because it kept her busy while she waited for Lafayette to sashay in like the fabulous bitch he was. She was excited to see him again and had been pleased when he accepted her invitation. She knew that vampires made Lafayette nervous too but he was just going to have to get used to them living in Everett.
She grinned when she saw his familiar black ass stroll into the joint like he owned the place. She mixed up his favorite drink real quick and set it on the bar for him.
"What are you doing here, fool?" she asked jokingly as she walked around the bar to hug him. "You tryin' to get yoself killed?"
