Who: Drusilla, Miss Edith & Wednesday What: Tea Party When: This evening Where: Drusilla's Toy Shop Warnings: hahahaha It's Drusilla.
Drusilla hummed absently as she danced through the shop with Miss Edith clasped in the cradle of one arm. She spotted Miss Edith's reflection in one of the windows and paused to comb her fingers through the doll's hair. "There, all better now. Mummy can't have you looking a fright. We're expecting company." She turned and surveyed the room, lips pursed. The table was set with a tea tray with sweets and tinned cookies. Though Dru didn't eat food to live she liked to give sweets to company. It was something her mummy had done long ago. A small shudder passed through her and as quickly as they had come, thoughts of her old life were subsumed once more.
"It all looks proper, doesn't it?" Dru held up Miss Edith so that she could see how well the shop had cleaned up once Dru had removed the previous owner's body and put all of the shop's dolls in order. Miss Edith had sisters now. Dozens of sisters all properly turned out to receive their guest. Because Dru had made a friend. A dark soul full of woe who liked dolls and games in the night. She had been fun to talk to and promised to visit Dru.
The only dark spot was her sadness about Darla. Grandmummy-Baby kept dying. Every night it was the same and even though she hadn't been there Dru felt it as keenly as if she'd staked herself. Darla was just back again it wasn't fair she had to die and die and die some more. She'd consulted her tarot deck but so far the stars were silent. She would have her visit with Wednesday and ask them again later. Stars could be so touchy.
