Finn couldn't help feeling a little surprised by Rogue's question. No one had asked him what he thought about Kurt leaving or how he was handling it. They'd all just been angry and told him off. Even Rachel hadn't really asked him how he was doing. She'd just been focused on how it made her feel and how scared Kurt must have been and all kinds of other stuff. That wasn't totally surprising, though; Finn had always known Rachel could be pretty self-centered, even if she was way better than she used to be.
"I've, uh. I've been better," he admitted, scratching at the back of his neck as they started walking. He looked down at her with a sheepish half-smile. "It sucks, him leaving. And I'm really pissed he left it all on me." He pressed his lips together, looking up at the clear, night sky for a moment. "But it's okay, I guess. Sam and Dean think they're gonna find him." He didn't really think they would, but he did kind of hope they did, if only so he could calm down his adoring fans.
"How are you?" He looked back down at her, taking in the way she wrapped her arms around himself. He started pulling off the bulky winter parka he'd picked up on his very first raid a little while back. "Here, you should put this on." He had another thinner jacket on underneath, a sweater and a long sleeved shirt on, so he was warm enough. He was a big guy, and he radiated a lot of body heat. He'd be okay for now, and the breeze wasn't high enough to chill him through right now.
