Things were beginning to fall into place. All of the ingredients for the spell had nearly been gathered. Some of them would need to be fresh though, like the blood. The blood. It always went back to blood and Bonnie was going to need a lot of it to perform the spell. She would need doppelganger blood, the blood of the three who had originally activated the Nemeton but from them she would only need a little. The most amount of blood would come from Damon. She planned to drain him of most everything in his body over that Nemeton. She felt no remorse for hurting Damon. He would survive and he deserved it after breaking Elena's heart, after using and abusing Caroline the way that he had. Some small part of Bonnie was eager to dish some pain in Damon's direction.
She had her banshee lined up and ready to go although Bonnie was pretty sure that Lydia had no idea what she actually was. She knew she was something not exactly human but probably had no idea exactly what. Bonnie could tell her ahead of time but she didn't need the feisty teenager getting upset about it and taking off. Bonnie needed a banshee to complete the spell and that meant maintaining the status quo with Lydia. She would tell Lydia during the spell if she asked but until then mum was the word. She was going to need Lydia's friends too which meant the calmer they were, the easier this would go off.
The bezoar eggs were safely nesting in Diana and Cassie's freezer. Bonnie had made copies of the entire spell for both of her sisters so they could study it too. All three of them would need to be ready when the time came. That was why she wasn't rushing to do the spell right this minute. It was tempting to perform it on the solstice on Saturday but she wasn't sure that all three of them would be quite ready by then. She wanted Cassie and Diana to be as familiar with the spell as Bonnie was. As it stood now, she had memorized the entire thing ten times over. Now she needed them to do that and if she found they couldn't then she would remove Faye from the situation until the spell was over. They didn't need distractions and Faye was a giant one.
Her boots crunched through the snow. She had gotten incredibly good at forging Cassie's signature so as far as anyone at the prison knew, she was with her sister. Instead she was scoping out the Nemeton. She brushed some of the snow off of it's branches, her own feet making footprints around it as she took it in.
"I'll bring you back, Caroline." She said to the air. "I swear I will."
