Who: Josh, Aidan, Alana, Priya, & Victor
What: Josh rages out
When: Now
Where: Infirmary
Warnings: Violence, yelling n' stuff. Oh and needles.
Josh never chose to be a werewolf. He was attacked while camping with a friend and he had the unfortunate fate of surviving the attack. It was all Ray's fault for turning him into this monster. He'd been forced to walk away from his fiance, his family, his future. All so he could painfully transform out in the woods once a month and do his best not to maul anything but deer. The sick part was taht he even felt guilty about that. The deer didn't deserve to die just because he was some abomination. More than once he considered putting down the animal he was and making the world a safer place. If it wasn't for Aidan walking into his life maybe he would have. Aidan with his ideas of being more than just what they were, of still having humanity.
He was all talk. The vampire couldn't keep his goddamn fangs out of anyone long enough for them to ever have a remotely normal life. He should have dropped that dead weight a long time ago. If it wasn't for Aidan his sister never would have gotten hurt and he wouldn't have had to send her back to Boston. His family wouldn't have put him on the spot like that and maybe they could have all lived together. It was the bastard vampire that talked him out of it. Just what kind of game was he playing at? Did he want a pet? Did he think of him as a dog like Bishop had?
Fuck Aidan.
And fuck everyone in this infirmary, too.
All he did was give every moment of his time to them, he slept here and forgot to eat here and he took care of everything and they didn't even care. No one here gave a shit about him just like no one gave a shit about him except his family and they were all dead now. They were human like he should have been and they got mowed down by all the monsters in this world. He was sure of it.
And they all thought he was a monster. He gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on the syringe of Diprivan in his hand. It was a pretty serious and fast acting sedative. He wasn't a monster. He was a victim and they would stop looking at him with those judgmental eyes. He could feel the heat building up and the room began to close in on him. If they didn't stop looking at him like that he was going to kill them all. He should just show them all what a monster he really could be... if that's what they wanted...that's what they would get.
So he made his move. He pushed himself away from the counter with two syringes full of enough Diprivan to drop a full grown man and the metal tray they had been on... and he crossed over to them. Victor and Priya were the only ones around the main part of the infirmary. They were the ones that wouldn't stop treating him like he was some kind of blight on their lives...so he'd just shut their eyes for them. Give them a little nap to think about what horrible monstrous people they were. What disappointments they were.
With the strong swing of a man still amped up with the power of the werewolf, he planted the metal tray into the side of Victor's head. The tray crumpled and the man dropped quickly. Before Priya had a chance to react he had picked up a lamp and hit her with it. They didn't even know what to expect, it came out of nowhere. And just to make sure they stayed down he pulled their arms out, quickly finding the veins. And injected them each with a full dose of the sedative. They would be out for hours. Just enough time for him to really take care of them and really show how violent he could be. He'd rip them apart.
He didn't even know if he wanted them to be afraid of him or stop antagonizing him anymore, he just hated them all so much. And that's when Alana poked her head out of her office. Josh could have laughed if his jaw wasn't set so sternly in anger. Alana. Now there was someone who needed a lesson in humility. What kind of naive girl thought she could play around with monsters and never get bit? Didn't all her patients realize that she was just using them for some sick rush. That she was exploiting all of their weaknesses and the little bit of humanity they might have left inside of them for her thrills. A monster groupie. That's what she was.
Well if she loved them so much maybe she should know how it feels. He began to step towards her hastily, grabbing another syringe off the table as he went. Who knew what was inside of this one but it wouldn't matter because he planned to rip at her with his teeth and claws until something stuck. Until she turned into what he was. She moved to shut the door as he got closer but he slammed his arm against it and forced it open, letting himself into the office "You think you can just play with us? Like just because we're not human we're supposed to entertain you? There's only one way you're ever going to know what it feels like to be one of us." and he closed the door behind him, locking it and stepping forward with the syringe.
"So just hold still." and he moved to take a swipe at her. He over-committed and fell hard against the desk with an inhuman growl of anger. "HOLD STILL!" he demanded and turned to jump after her as she rattled with the lock on the door in a panic, trying to let herself out.
The door opened, but it wasn't her. The lock was snapped and the wood of the frame splintered. Aidan. He put an arm around Alana and pulled her out without taking his eyes from Josh, urging her to go. Once she was out of the way he stepped into the office with the werewolf and put his hands up, a pleading look on his face. "Josh. Not you too." he hesitated "Just put that thing down." but Josh wasn't hearing any of it.
He shook his head "Why, so you can go get my leash and pat me on the head and tell me what a good dog I am? I'm not your dog Aidan. Where's my sister? Huh? Where is she? Why did you keep me from staying with her? My family would have helped me. They would have ACCEPTED me. Were you just jealous?" Josh had no problem dishing out the hurt and Aidan couldn't help but feel like he deserved it.
The vampire was shocked that his best friend felt this way, obviously it was the rage talking but there had to be some kind of kernel of truth underneath it all.
Before Aidan could say anything else, Josh lunged at him, he got close enough to bury the syringe in the crook of his shoulder but it shattered in his hand and he didn't have the finesse to even try and depress the plunger. Aidan grabbed him and used the momentum to throw him into the wall. Not hard enough to hurt him too bad but enough to knock him out. He hissed at the pain of the needle that had snapped off inside his shoulder and brushed the rest of the shattered syringe from him as best he could.
First line of duty would be to get Josh to quarantine, then get this needle out and get checked.
