Who: Rose and Dimitri
What: Rose goes to see Dimitri after his rage attack
When: Saturday afternoon
Where: Prison
Warnings: RAGEY!Comrade
Explosions? Really? Rose had feared that her friends might contract the rage virus. She wasn't exactly known for holding back so she could assume that the rage virus would effect her in the same way it did Kol. Only in a less douchey vampire sort of way. Lissa and Dimitri were the conservative ones, the ones that were wrapped up too tightly. Out of all them, the two of them scared her the most. Maybe it was just because they were the two she was closest too. Dimitri in a full blown rage had Rose's attention fast and she should have been faster, stopped him. So Dimitri was the God of St. Vlad's but she had learned a lot since those days. Everything had just happened so fast that he had managed to hit her hard enough to nearly knock her out.
It would take more than a bump on the head to keep Rose down for long though. She was out through those gates in no time, running through the woods looking for any signs of Dimitri. She felt a little guilty about leaving the Moroi without a guardian around but it was Dimitri. It wasn't long after that when Connor dragged him back and they got him into quarantine. She checked in quick with Lissa, Jill and Adrian who had been knocked out by Dimitri. He wasn't exactly the rough and tumble type so Rose felt bad for him. She knew how hard Dimitri hit.
After that she wouldn't be stopped from seeing Dimitri. She wondered if he was disappointed in her. Because she had hesitated. She had seen those red eyes out there and she had hesitated for just a moment, caught up in the memory of a different time. She had hesitated and he had gotten the best of her. Again. Her self conscious embarrassment was muted by her need to make sure that he was okay. She knew he was infected and that in itself was definitely not okay but she still had to see him for herself and not in the heat of battle.
Alcide and Kennedy weren't going to stop her. She didn't care how many bitchy looks Kennedy had or how rough around the edges Alcide looked. She could and would outbitch Kennedy any day of the week if need be and though she specialized in Strigoi she wasn't against kicking a werewolf where the sun don't shine either.
This felt like history repeating itself only with a slayer and a werewolf rebuffing her efforts instead of a team of guardians. And Dimitri wasn't granting access to only Lissa. She had resented that so much at the time but now she understood why he had done it. That little flare of jealousy that he had shunned her and worshiped Lissa like some freaking angel even though it had been Rose that had orchestrated mostly everything. But she knew that he just felt guilty about keeping her prisoner and using her as his own personal blood bag when he was a Strigoi.
Rose's emotions had always run hot but they ran especially hot when it came to Dimitri. Since the first time she had seen him, she just knew. She knew it was wrong for her to want her teacher and for him to want her back but it just happened. She loved him and she couldn't help herself, they were good together. They got each other. Now how could that be wrong?
She walked slowly through the quarantined area, seeing people in various stages of madness in their spaced out cells. She swallowed hard as she came to a stop in front of Dimitri's. When he turned his red eyes on her, her heart skipped a beat.
"I came to see if you were okay."
