Who: Pam and Tara What: Pam is done with everyone's bullshit When: Saturday evening/night Where: Starts in the projects, then the wilderness, then who knows Warnings: Language, violence, NPC character deaths, and let's just go with ALL THE WARNINGS.
Anger wasn't something new for Pam. Not really. Pam was the kind of woman whose temper ran hot on a regular basis, on both good days and bad. Attitude was in everything that she did, and she didn't give a fuck who liked it or who didn't.
That was why she didn't even notice when the effects of the virus started making their presence known. Pam had been pissed off ever since Eric had asked her and Tara to be the babysitters for Nora's new baby vamp, and fuck if that wasn't damn annoying. Pam had barely had any patience for her own progeny in the beginning, and sometimes even now - taking care of Nora's, who she didn't even really like to begin with? That was NOT exactly something she wanted to be doing. But she was Eric's sister, and Eric had asked, so why the hell not, right?
The thought made her blood boil the more she thought about it. Pam's heart had been dead and gone for years, but she could swear she could feel it drumming wildly and angrily in her chest as she stormed out of the babysitting headquarters. Nightfall was barely upon them, and for them the night was still very young, but Eric had wanted blood, Nora and her fucking baby vamp needed blood, so Pam was on a blood run even if no one had asked her for it just yet.
Because she knew it was coming. Of course it was. Pam, do this. Pam, get blood. Pam, help me with Nora. Pam Pam Pam. It was always something, Eric always wanted or needed something from her, and despite her instinct that would generally want to tear anyone else's tongue right out of their mouth for daring to order her around, she always ended up doing it. She always ended up being Eric's.
But... Why? As she moved through the projects, she stopped in her tracks when the question finally settled. Why did she always listen to Eric? Why did she always end up doing whatever the hell he wanted?
Why?
WHY?
WHY?
Tara would need to be leaving soon for Fangtasia, and Pam should start heading back to her goddamn babysitting duties, but she didn't. Oh no, sir. Pam was generally so cold to the touch, but right now her skin felt like it was going to burn right off her bones. Instead of worrying about the virus, though, the anger and indignation that Eric was still somehow managing to boss her around EVEN WHEN HE HAD RELEASED HER was fueling her. To the point that she didn't bother opening up Fangtasia, and instead moved along the roads in a blur until she stumbled upon a group of survivors reaching the city. Two women and a man, and Pam smirked. "New in town?"
Without waiting for an answer, Pam moved again and snapped the man's neck before grabbing one of the women by the hair and yanking her back towards her. Eric needed blood? Well, fuck him. She needed blood, too, and she sank her fangs into the woman's neck hard and deep. The woman fought against her, but Pam was on a mission to drink her dry, and it didn't take long. Tossing her aside, she kicked the man's body over and breathed in the other woman's scent. She had begun to run away at the sight of a vampire killing her travel companions, but all it took was one whiff and Pam was already following the trail.
The woman was running. If Pam wasn't so angry maybe she would have laughed or taunted, but instead she zoomed closer to her and pinned her against a tree. Brushing her blond hair back, she studied her for a moment before she grinned. A sadistic and angry grin that was tainted with the blood that was smeared on her mouth and fangs. Blood that was as red as her eyes, and the girl trembled in terror under her grasp.
"What's wrong, beautiful?" Pam asked huskily, her fingernails digging painfully into the woman's arms to hold her still. She could smell the fear. She could smell it so strongly, and it made her mouth water as it mixed with the sound of the woman's heartbeat. Pam lingered for a moment before she ran her tongue along the length of her neck, her grasp tightening when she whimpered. "You didn't even give me a chance to say welcome to town." Not waiting for anything else, Pam dug her fangs deep into her neck and drank until the woman was nothing but an empty sack of bones that was sagging in front of her. Well, that was a pity. The best ones always emptied out the fastest, apparently.
Turning to leave, she suddenly caught sight of Tara. Who was staring at her, and Pam rolled her eyes as she tossed the blond girl's body aside. "Don't tell me you're jealous. I'm just getting started." Zooming closer to her, she smirked. "We're not fucking babysitting tonight. Let's go hunting, baby."
