"Yeah, you'd probably find the prison claustrophobic." Rogue was used to living with roommates and being surrounded by other people since she'd been living in Xavier's school before the outbreak and even she felt like the walls were closing in at times. "Takes some getting used to." She didn't think Jed would be a great fit either, if his first instinct was to grab a chainsaw and ask questions later, he wouldn't last an hour there.
"Probably a good idea," Rogue agreed, "I was going to head back there anyway." She needed to go back soon if she didn't want to keep Isabel waiting too long for her outside of the gate. That and she wanted put some distance between herself and Jed. Even though he wouldn't attack her with Heather around, it didn't stop him from giving her the creeps. It wasn't just being chased by a chainsaw but there had been something on his face that left her uneasy.
The walk over was light on the conversation but that was okay. It was a relatively comfortable silence considering the circumstances. "This is me." She offered Heather a small but sincere smile. "I know that the way we met could have gone miles better but, if you need anything, feel free to message me on the net." She knew Heather would go to Abigail first since they seemed to be actual friends but it didn't hurt to have a backup person. "Stay safe." She spotted Isabel not too far away so she gave Heather a parting wave before walking away to meet up with her roommate.
