WHO: Ianto & Jo
WHAT: Ianto struggles with his reluctance to interfere with the living world and his inability to move on.
WHEN: Late Sunday night/early Monday morning
WHERE: The prison
WARNINGS: tbd
Ianto slipped silently through the prison, floating aimlessly. He avoided passing through walls, because stunts like that hurt. Well, maybe not hurt in the sense of physical pain, but it cost energy to tangle with a physical object, and slowed him down. He was getting better at translocating, now that he knew the layout. He could appear in another room with just a thought. But he had no particular purpose tonight, so he just drifted, passing the time.
Why was he here? He'd followed Jack, obviously, and Jack still clung to his memory, but was completely unaware of him. Ianto hadn't tried to contact him, because he was afraid of what it might do to Jack. He didn't know how many times he could watch the man try and kill himself in his grief. He almost wished that Jack would just move on--and really move on, not just go through the motions with every willing passerby--so that Ianto could do the same. He had this sinking feeling that Jack was about to make a terrible mistake, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.
But there might be someone who could help him with his quandary.
