Honestly Kurt was just happy to not be the only one who had a super awkward crush turn into a not-at-all crush. He hadn't really been expecting it to be that way for her too but the fact that it was made him feel....really good. She really was someone he wanted as a friend. "He sounds nice" the idea of him taking her on a trip after everything almost made him a little jealous. Finn was great...but he had definitely changed. Kurt didn't think Finn was going to sweep him off for brother bonding any time soon.
The touch had come up and he rolled his eyes dismissively and started to come up with all the different ways he would tell her that it was okay. That is until she got to the end of her story. And then he was just speechless. He was a smart cookie and it didn't take him very long to put all the pieces together. But just because she was insinuating that she had somehow tapped into his memories...well...that didn't have to mean that she did right? Or that if she was in his memories that she saw anything he would care about. Maybe just his performances and how great his dad was. Right?
"Oh." he commented, suddenly more stiff and looking down at his feet while he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his coat. "And that... happens every time?" it was an obvious question. But this situation called for being obvious.
