"Mm, there is," she said with a fond smile that turned into laughter at Kurt's grimace. "I can relate. It's amazing how things like that can turn out for the best." She had some memories of Finn but they had been filled with more fondness than romantic feelings. "Logan, my friend, I had a bit of crush on him but I was able to snap out of that." She'd had the advantage of him going out of town to work out her feelings so she'd been able to avoid acting like a school girl with a crush around him. Thank god.
She sent him a grateful smile and instantly felt guilt. Here he was, sweet as can be after what she'd done to him, and she wasn't telling him the truth. She knew she couldn't keep it to herself for much longer. Before, she had the excuse of not seeing him but now? That really didn't fly and she'd just be lying to him by omission. He deserved more than that.
Rogue briefly glanced down and steeled herself as subtly as possible. "You know, I'm glad that you're okay after I touched you." It was a start and not as stilted as it could have been. "I wasn't born with it, it didn't manifest until I was fifteen during my first kiss. I had no idea what happened until it was too late. He survived but I put him in coma too, for three weeks." Her hold around herself tightened a little. "And the thing was, as much as I wanted to forget, I couldn't. Not for a lack of trying but because of another side affect of my touch. I absorbed some of his memories and it was like he was in my head." She didn't come out and say it directly but she trusted Kurt to pick it up as soon as she closed her mouth.
