Rogue made a face at the insinuation and playfully bumped her shoulder against Kurt's. "Ew, no. I mean, don't get me wrong, he isn't hideous or anything. I just don't think of him that way. He's like an older brother." Once upon a time, yes, she'd had a small crush on Logan after he'd saved her from Magneto's machine but those feelings had been short lived and turned into deeper ones of friendship and family. "He offered to take me on a trip and the place is my choice." It sounded like a great distraction and she would never turn down the chance to spend time with Logan after wondering if he was even alive for two years.
She didn't entirely believe Kurt when he said he was okay but decided not to push. A lot had happened between now and October and she didn't want to make him rehash it if he wasn't in the mood. Perhaps when they knew each other longer and better, she'd have the right to push him into talking about his real feelings. "I've been as well as can be expected," she admitted after a small beat.
She was scared for Lorna and she was absolutely terrified of becoming infected. She'd only touched Kurt for a few seconds, if she was pissed and held on, well, she knew what the end result would be, never mind touching someone with powers. "It just, it feels selfish if I complained." They didn't exactly have it easy but they were better off than people wandering around and starving.
