Who: Destiny and Isaac What: Helping a friend When: Tonight Where: Destiny's pad Warnings: LOL it's Destiny so yeah.
Destiny had given Isaac some space during the first couple nights of staying with her. She could sense that he needed some time to himself to figure a few things out or to reflect on everything that had happened to him. She stayed aware of him, his aura hovering around her cabin. For some reason the stray cats had taken to him and she let their healing energy work on him. Animals were great therapy, it was proven that people with pets lived longer than people who didn't own them. Yes, Destiny kept the cats around to be used as sacrifices when necessary but she also loved them. She didn't kill them out of hatred but the earth would demand it's price. She just had to pay the piper.
Her cabin wasn't that big and Isaac slept in the one spare bedroom that doubled as a storage room for Destiny. When she was seeing clients Isaac would go out and wander in the woods or through Katherine's grounds. Isaac wasn't a client but she had arranged it with Katherine so that he could stay for awhile. He was a friend now. As a young werewolf Destiny instinctively wanted to protect him. They were all family in a way.
She was with a client on this particular night and Isaac was out doing his thing. Destiny was doing her own thing as she read the vampire's tarot cards and fed him some garbage that he wanted to hear. Destiny only did real magic for friends as favors. She didn't sell any of the real stuff. She treats clients like tourists, giving them what they wanted to hear and sometimes scaring them just enough to get rid of them if she didn't like them. Clients always arranged visits with Katherine, the lady of the house and Destiny worked her own schedule around it.
Once they got down to business Destiny didn't have to fake it. Vampires were dangerous but they made for amazing lovers. They weren't the only ones getting something out of it. Destiny might be a whore but she embraced her sexuality and the spirit and magic that went along with it.
Destiny was telling him to listen to his Anahata when Isaac walked back in. "Just one minute!" Destiny held up one finger through the curtain before she disappeared behind it again. She helped the vampire dress and then said goodbye as she pulled on a pair of shorts. She could hear him exchange polite words with Isaac before he left.
"Hey," she said as she walked out into the living room and stretched her arms out wide, working out the kinks. "Are you hungry?" She began to root around in the fridge looking for something to heat up from the main house. Once that was in the microwave she grabbed a bottle of wine and joined Isac in the living room. "How was your night?" she asked him. She poured them each a glass of wine and handed one to him. "You're giving off an anxious energy. Are you alright?"
