Who: Christian and the prison Halloween party What: Halloween Party! When: October 31 Where: Prison Cafeteria Warnings: No clue. Just remember if you want to become what your costume is, it needs at least one item from the magical costume pile. The magic will activate on the 31st, and end at midnight on the 1st. If outsiders want to party crash without an invite, then do so cause some sentry will be in costume and unable to tell. There's also the fact you're in costume and it won't be obvious you don't have an invite. If you have friends in the prison you got an invite. Chaos will now begin.
Penny's party was now a tradition. The fact they had survived long enough to have a yearly tradition was saying something. Christan had checked his costume the night before the event. Dimitri was unsure about lending his young charge his beloved duster and his spare stake, but they knew it was mostly the duster. He was like Linus with his blanket with that duster. Christian thought he and Lissa were going to rock it at the party. Thanks to the borrowed items as well as the hair extensions and wigs that Lissa got from the raided costumes, they definitely looked the part. They had the attitudes and mannerisms down as well.
Taking an early shift so those Sentry workers not attending the party wouldn't be pulling doubles, he spent most of his shift practicing a faint Russian accent. Some Sentry were going to attend and trade off shifts. Others were going to dress up and do their shift in costume. Others planned to treat it like any other day. Christian finished his shift and checked in at the cafeteria. He wasn't surprised to see the frenzy of activity, but he was shocked to see Penny looking depressed. Caroline was helping her decorate and trying to cheer her up.
Did he really hear she wouldn't be attending? This was Penny's party!
He needed to get ready, but made a note to stop by her room with Lissa, or should he say Rose, to encourage her to come and have a good time. She lived for parties, and Christian admired how she rose to the occasion to help keep life as normal as possible for the survivors. He quickly showered and then dressed, making sure his black pants, black shirt, and black boots went nicely with the slightly oversized black duster. The stake was tucked in one of the pockets and all that was left was the hair extensions. As he began putting them in, a strange sense of worry and duty came over him. As he checked the finished product in the mirror out, one thought weighed heavily on his shoulders, 'Was the prison safe?!'
Striding down the hall with quick purposeful steps, his keenly sharp eyes took note of everything and everyone he passed. The costumes would make security harder to control. There masks. What if this was an elaborate attempt to invade the prison and hurt his charges. They were all under his protection, and Dimitri took that very seriously.
As he entered the cafeteria, he stood stiffly in a corner and made note of the arriving guests. On one side of the room there was food and drinks. On another was a cd player and music. Tables and chairs in place for people to mingle. Decorations that set the mood and even a dance floor. His eyes scanned the room for any threat and to check all exits.
Nothing was going to go wrong on his watch.
Ooc: As with all party threads post in and either leave it open to anyone or to a specific person. Have fun and remember, Guardian Belikov is watching you.
ETA: if your costume is a ghost and it's magically enhanced you will be a ghost until the magic wears off. HOWEVER. IF YOU DIE, NO MATTER WHAT YOU'RE WEARING OR IF YOU ARE NAKED, THE MAGIC WEARING OFF WON'T BRING YOU BACK. DEAD IS DEAD, YO.
