Who: Castiel, Needy, and Klaus (narrative, Needy and Klaus used with permission <3)
What: Saving Needy
Where: The cabin where Hannibal poisoned her
When: After her message on the network
Warnings: An angel healing a demon. ... Kind of.
Following Needy's message, Castiel didn't waste any time in asking questions. As soon as his response was sent he was quick to locate her and immediately appeared where she was.
Whatever he had been expecting, though, hadn't prepared to see her so altered. There was some sort of black substance on the ground and, judging by how there were traces of it on her lips and chin, it was her body rejecting whatever it was that was making her act the way she was.
"What happened?" The question slipped unchecked, and the second if left his mouth she immediately shifted her attention towards him. She looked wild and almost desperate, and Castiel felt his brow furrow deeper. What was going on?
"I TOLD YOU. The demon. He--" A hand flew to her head, fisting a handful of hair into her palm while she held her phone with the other one, and if before Castiel wouldn't have been able to sense the struggle between herself and the demon, he could see it clearly in her face. Her eyes seemed to scream more than her voice ever could, and he could only guess it was whatever torture the demon was making her feel within her.
Before he could take a step towards her, the door burst open and the vampire that Castiel could recognize as Klaus barged in. His eyes seemed to dart between the angel and Needy, but ultimately they focused on her alms of immediately. Because he could see and most likely sense the struggle as well, and Castiel immediately demanded his attention once more as he spoke. "I will need your help in holding her still."
There was barely any hesitation in the request, Castiel could only guess because he knew why he was there and how it had nothing to do with hurting Needy, and together they approached her as quickly yet carefully as they could. Not because they were afraid of her - Castiel's concern was that, sensing that he would try to help her, would make the demon refuse the assistance.
Thankfully, if there was any intention of it, Klaus was quick to hold her still while Castiel rested his hand on her forehead. The demon was quick to lash out, thrashing at what he knew was coming, but Castiel didn't let go. Instead he just held on tighter and, as soon as he was able to locate the source of her pain besides from the demonic habitant that lived within Needy, he was quick to heal her.
Or, rather, as quick as the demon would let him. For a moment it became a struggle of his own as well, but in a few minutes Needy was already starting to calm down against Klaus. She had been poisoned. She had been poisoned and the demon had used that against her, but now that the poison was out of her he wanted to focus on destroying the demon as well.
Except, he had no way of knowing this quickly to what extent the demon was latched onto her. For all he knew it was the only thing keeping her alive, and he was not willing to hurt her worse than what she had already been. So, instead, he gave her another tap to the forehead to clean her up in a blink and also make her sleep.
Klaus, who had been watching both Castiel and Needy throughout this process, finally turned completely to the angel as he took the now sleeping girl into his arms. "What happened to her?"
"There was something in her bloodstream that was poisoning her. The demon, I believed it was using it to hurt her as well."
"Will she be okay?"
"I trust that she will. I have ensured she can get some rest, but she will be all right." Minus the demon part. He fleet a sense of guilt at the fact that he was leaving her stuck with it still living inside her, but right now he couldn't fix that. One thing at a time, he supposed. "Watch over her until she wakes up," he instructed to the Original vampire, almost demanding it even if he could guess they he didn't have to considering the way he had burst in earlier as well.
Before Klaus could respond, though, Castiel disappeared.
