"Thanks," she said a bit absently as she put the tea kettle on the stove. Her cabin was small but large enough for her purposes. The living area was large and open with no walls separating the kitchen, the sitting area and the living room. It was just one big open space and behind a beaded curtain was her bedroom where she entertained some of her clients and behind another small door, the bathroom.
"Would you like to sit?" She put two tea cups on the table where she did most of her readings. It was a small table with a decorative scarf covering it. A crystal ball and a deck of tarot cards sat in the middle of the table. While Destiny did use these tools to see things that others couldn't, mostly they like everything else were for the ambiance. What kind of a gypsy fortune teller didn't have a crystal ball after all?
She poured two cups of tea, each cup had an extra bit of Thyme to force the truth out into the air. It would loosen and relax her company into being a little more forthcoming than he might normally be. It wasn't just regular tea, it had been specifically designed to make her clients relax and open up to her. She drank the same stuff as a matter of principle. If they drank it then so would she.
Once the tea was poured she sat down across from him. "I'm Destiny by the way." She smiled at him reassuringly. It was rude she hadn't introduced herself yet but she had been busy dealing with the cats and the tea. She took a sip of the tea, the feeling of it warming her from the inside.
