Lissa exchanged a look with Christian. Jill's anger was becoming more and more apparent and the charms Lissa made weren't seeming to help ease it for her. There had been so much pain and loss lately, but something else was wrong with her normally joyful little sister who always had a smile for everyone. She had been through so much, but Lissa was worried about her.
And, yes, she understood the irony in all of this. It wasn't that long ago that everyone had been worried about her own anger. Because with those anger highs also come the lows.
She reached out to squeeze Jill's hand. "It's only temporary. He's here and he's not going anywhere. I know it can be confusing and hard not to feel him here with you, but focus on the fact that both of you can rest for a couple of days. He's still here just like the rest of us are. I promise."
As for Rose and Dimitri, Lissa knew they were angry. "Doing okay as anyone is under the circumstances I think. Angry that they're not able to be up to full guardian status, but using that as a reason to be more on guard. Rose wants to kick his ass."
