Her aim had gotten a heck of a lot better since coming to the prison and taking lessons with Cam, so she felt more confident that she could help out on a raid. "I'll sign up for it next time he asks." She nodded in understanding. Before her power had manifested, Rogue had planned on traveling once she graduated from high school. While it hadn't panned out the way she had planned, she still had been able to see plenty of the US when she hitched hiked then and more recently, traveled on her own after the virus outbreak. "I totally get that. Even with the zombies scattered out there, there are still breath taking sights if you know where to look."
"Both sound impressive." Wanda's in particular sounded pretty powerful and it reminded her a little of Jean and the strength she possessed in the end. "My friend, Logan, he heals rapidly and and has claws coming out from between his knuckles." It was an intimidating sight if you were his enemy.
She bit her bottom lip as she concentrated on the game. Lorna had caught up but she was able to narrowly keep herself in the lead. It was one of her better races and she smiled widely when they got to the last lap with her car still in the lead.
"I wish I could keep them, but yeah, they fade after after a few hours. The longer I hold on, the longer they last. I've gotten to experience a few different ones and it's a pretty unforgettable feeling." As much of a hindrance as her power was, it was her greatest asset. It had kept her safe while traveling and she didn't doubt that without it, she probably would have been someone's victim.
