"You should! Tyler usually opens up spots whenever he posts about the raids, so you totally should. If anything it's just nice to get away for a while, you know? I like it here, but it can be a little much sometimes. I spent my whole life knowing nothing about the world except for Genosha, so when I first visited New York I wanted to see anything that I could. As funny as it sounds, I don't want zombies to change that. It's another reason to try to see everything while I still can."
She smiled and went back to focusing on the game for a little bit, taking the turns as best she could and laughed some when Rogue passed her on the track. Her car still kept up close, trailing Rogue's close but still not being able to get by just yet.
"It's not a bad one to have. My brother is a speedster and can move faster than anything. Wanda's power is a little more complicated. She can manipulate events and probability but can also cast these hexes of magic against enemies. It's what she uses in the towers when we have sentry duty."
That was the simple version of Wanda's abilities, but sometimes Lorna herself didn't always understand them. Her sister could do more than any of them ever knew and a lot of people were afraid of her. Lorna never was though. Even when Wanda's spells backfired, it was never meant to be harmful. Sometimes she just had trouble controlling her abilities.
Hearing about Rogue's power was interesting though because she'd never heard of anything like it. She'd noticed the gloves but hadn't even thought of her wearing them for that reason. It made more sense now. "Wow, that's really cool. Do you keep the abilities or do they fade after a while?"
