"I haven't been on one yet since I initially signed up for sentry but if I get the chance, I'll definitely try it at least once." The prison was great but going out of town to find supplies for a couple days was appealing. Particularly when her friends were busy and she had nothing to do outside of shifts. "Tell me about it." Rogue shook her head fondly with a soft laugh. "Logan's pretty protective too. I'm pretty sure he'd kick someone's ass for me if they looked at me the wrong way." It was endearing that he cared that much about her.
Her face took on a brief but wistful look at the thought of the school. "Yeah, it was pretty great. All of the teachers and students were mutants. It felt safe." It had been a haven for all of them when the humans had united against their kind and wanted the government to pass the Mutant Registration Act.
She shook off those thoughts and bit the inside of her cheek as she tried to avoid the dirt and stay on the road in game. Her eyebrows raised in surprise at Lorna's admission. It wasn't uncommon for more than one mutant to have the same kind of ability so she didn't connect Lorna and Magneto, though he did cross her mind for a split second. "Sounds like a pretty cool power to have." Rogue grinned and shot Lorna a teasing look. "I might actually win this time." While Lorna had gone backwards, her own car had gained a pretty big lead.
"Energy absorption." No one had freaked out on her yet and Lorna understood her more than most so Rogue wasn't too nervous this time around. "It's through direct skin contact and I can't control it, hence the gloves and long sleeves," she lifted her left hand and wiggled her gloved fingers for a second before she re-gripped the remote control. "The longer I touch someone, the more of their life's energy I take so if I touch someone long enough, well you can guess what happens. It's not too bad, though, if I touch someone with an ability, I temporarily gain their powers. That can be pretty fun."
