Allison was a little bored without Scott around but she just used the time she normally spent with him to spend even more time with Lydia and her dad. Lydia had her own thing going on with Derek so Allison tried to be careful to tread lightly. They all walked such a fragile line especially now that Peter Hale was back in town. Somewhere along the way Allison's heart had hardened a little. She could look at Derek now without thinking about her mother's death. She could take Isaac's verbal abuse because his opinion of her didn't matter. She could even handle Peter being back in town because if he even so much as looked at Lydia or Scott the wrong way she would light him on fire and prove to him just how much of an Argent she was. The only thing that stood in the way of Allison being entirely cut off from the pack was that she had genuinely gotten along with Cora, Erica and Boyd on the way back from Canada.
Things were strained with Scott still. They pretended like things were okay, that everything was normal but it wasn't. She was distant when he touched her, her mind wondering to the strangest of places. The sleepwalking incident had been forgotten by no one even though her friends and her father had the good sense not to talk about it anymore. Since Allison had no idea what was wrong with her and refused to seek professional help she would just have to learn to live with it. She was strong, she would get better. She told herself this every day as she cleaned her weapons before sentry duty. Argents were strong and Allison was no exception. Whatever memories she was repressing it was for a reason and she didn't want to remember something that her own mind was trying to protect her from.
Lydia was busy doing something. Allison's best friend had her own things going on which was good except for when Allison could use some company. She had poked her head into Dawn's cell on the way to cafeteria but hadn't seen her anywhere either. So to the cafeteria she went by herself for a late lunch. She figured she would get a bite to eat and then head back to her cell to either catch up on some reading or go target shooting. She would use her bow so it wasn't as if she was wasting any ammunition, most of the arrows she could use several times before they were broken and battered beyond use.
She poked her fork around the rice on her plate. Like everyone else who had to live on a human diet, she was getting a little sick of the same thing over and over again. She thought briefly about spicing up her plate with the Tabasco that the Evans siblings were always pouring all over their food but then decided against it. Instead she forced herself to eat it because wasting food in this world was doubly wasteful. Once she was done she took her tray over to where the dishes were collected. She happened to glimpse through the window there to see Kurt dancing around and swinging and flipping spatulas around in a way that was not all that different from the way she handled her Chinese ringdaggers.
