Who: Azazeal and Hatter What: Meeting the neighbors When: Tonight Where: The Inn Warnings: Probably not
Over the last week Azazeal had been in a state that most hadn't had the chance to ever witness. Viktoria had been given confirmation about the baby and they'd decided on a name. The pregnancy was at its halfway mark and as real as he'd felt before, this amplified that feeling immensely. There may have been already a few items brought in from his space in London that he'd collected that would be used in what had been made into a nursery. Items were scattered and John Ross had only begun working on a crib, but each time he stepped into the room he could feel Liliya's presence already.
As happy as he was to be made a father again, there was still the matter of keeping the Inn and everyone in it protected. He'd let his guard down, or perhaps a better description was that he'd become distracted while Dick Roman and his other lackeys had attempted to take hold of the town and cause destruction where ever he went. Speaking with Roman had opened his eyes again to the threat that was still out there not only for Viktoria and the baby but also of Malachi. A high price had been put on Malachi's head and Roman had been commissioned to collect. When he'd not taken the offer there was always going to be someone else that would be approached with a new one.
Azazeal had finished showering and after he'd gotten dressed he walked into the bedroom to see Viktoria resting on their bed. He leaned over to kiss her forehead, his hand resting over her belly slightly. Murmuring a few calming words in an ancient language he felt a slight kick and smiled. Whether it was his voice, the words, or simply an random act - he didn't care.
Walking downstairs to spend some time in his study, Azazeal paused when there was a knock at the door. He saw nor heard anyone else close by so he went to the door himself. Embracing his senses, there wasn't anyone that he recognized outside the door and those that most likely wished to do him and his harm wouldn't have knocked. Azazeal opened the door to see a man he didn't recognize standing there. This was an inn, after all, and people at times stopped by for a brief stay. However given recent events, he hadn't been opening his doors to the unfamiliar quite as often.
"Hello, is there something I'm able to do for you?"
