Aidan let out a breath that he'd not even realized he'd been holding, the lines of his shoulders relaxing as he nodded. Josh wasn't happy about it, but at least they were meeting in the middle--or at least they weren't bickering again. "Yeah, of course. We always seem to make it out okay." He tapped the base of his chair lightly, almost superstitiously--though Aidan had long lost his belief, even before being turned, there were some habits he could never seem to shake. He was pretty sure the thing wasn't even wood--but it didn't matter. "How was your weekend? I miss anything exciting?"
