Aidan was one of the only people on the planet that he felt safe giving his necklace to. He wasn't particularly religious anymore, how could he be after everything he'd seen? but it meant something so much greater to him. It represented a time before all of this, before his faith was so easy to question. It was like his anchor to the humanity he always feared he'd lost.
He'd calmed down significantly in their small exchange. The catharsis from his outburst did him wonders as it usually did. That made it all the more shocking when Aidan mentioned lingerie. Seriously?? His eyebrows shot up and he tried his best but failed to not make a face. Aidan was always a ladies man, he had a way with them that Josh would never fully understand. "Lingerie? Like.... actual lingerie? So uh...who's the lucky lady?" He faltered over the word lucky, grimacing once again. It was a bit of an insult for his friend but they both knew that women Aidan hooked up with...they were definitely not lucky.
