Josh allowed his friend to hug him, it really was one sided as his arms hung at his sides. He wanted to return the action but he just didn't have it in him to do it yet. It was starting to sink in ever since Aidan got here that his sister was probably dead and that meant a lot of coping and mourning that had been backed up for two years.
He pulled away and made a face with a thin but genuine smile at Aidan's admission of leaving for the raid. He reached into his shirt and pulled out his necklace "I could use another chain if you find one." it was a couple things. This way he could get the new chain he desperately needed and he could give Aidan a real reason to need to come back. As if coming back wasn't already in the stars, but he wanted there to be some tangible reason. So here it was. He unlatched the necklace and held it out with a grimace "I...kind of banged it up one full moon" it had kinks in it and looked like it was definitely on its way out.
