The way Claudia described her old job, Lissa found it to be really interesting. She was hardly a scholar of ancient objects, but she wondered if the objects themselves gave off some sort of essence that she would be able to see or feel without even touching it. Kind of like how she knew there was potential for certain plant growth in various places. Either way, she'd never really thought of an object taking on someone's power when it wasn't intentionally charmed into it like she did with spirit.
She smiled and shook her head. "No, it's okay. I've never known the charms to end up with a mind of their own and usually I have to sort of recharge them after a while. My sister wears one most all of the time and Rose keeps one close. I don't want to hand them out to others who may not be comfortable with vampire magic, but I do think that for some it would help."
Holding up the bracelet, she offered it again to her. "You're welcome to take one if you like. I haven't been practicing my magic a lot for a couple of weeks, but these help to keep the cravings for it at bay. My friends prefer I use it as little as possible since it does have some bad effects to the user, but for me it would be like going without food for a period of time."
