For the first time in what felt like eons Claudia was enjoying a walk in the prison yard. There wasn't anywhere she had to be, nothing that she needed to be doing. She'd stopped by the basement lab briefly to fiddle with a new Tesla design she was working on, but the gloom of the basement wasn't what she was in the mood for so she set it aside and went out. Even the El Camino was in good shape, and if she was really honest she didn't enjoy being alone in the garage as much as she used to, so she was completely at her leisure to do nothing.
When she came near the tree she saw the Moroi - Lissa - with a silver bracelet in her hand. She didn't know her personally but she knew she was one of the vampires who had the ability to heal people and that she did it a lot even at risk to herself which in Claudia's book put her firmly in the "pretty damned awesome" club. When it came to magic Claudia really didn't know much of anything beyond the fact it existed. Her entire world had revolved around science - even the Warehouse for all of it's whackiness had scientific basis for almost everything. But that didn't mean she wasn't curious to learn.
