Part of him wanted to protest as she moved closer but he had to accept that she knew what was dangerous about her powers and what wasn't. She wasn't going to touch him if it would kill him. And even if she managed to touch him and take his powers or whatever he knew he could keep another beta under control.
His gaze slipped to her hand on his and he was distracted by it at first, glancing back at her before he shook himself out of his thoughts and paid more attention to the lesson. He did everything she asked and found himself in a position that felt more natural and made the weight of the gun feel more secure in his hands.
He took a breath as his eyes glowed gold to sharpen his vision, squeezed the trigger, and let the bullet fly. The zombie dropped to the ground and its sounds ceased and for a moment Isaac brightened up and moved to turn to her in excitement. But then he saw something out of the corner of his eye, the bullet he'd just shot had splintered a section of the tree right next to the zombie, someone in a neighboring tower had killed it. Oh well...he'd gotten close. A lot closer than he'd ever gotten before. "I'll take it!" he declared, turning to face her as his eyes faded from gold back to their normal blue "...Thanks."
