Rogue moved to have her back against the wall as soon as she heard the door behind her open. It was a deeply ingrained habit by then to never leave herself vulnerable but she was trying to bring that instinct down a notch while around the other people in the prison. She wanted to believe she was safe around them and show them that. Unfortunately, she knew that intellectually but physically, she could still be jumpy at times. It irritated her to no end sometimes.
"It's okay," she reassured Isaac as her lips spread into a small smile. She didn't have a clue who he was, that'd he'd been the one to cause havoc on her cell block, and it showed as she moved away from the wall to take up her position again. Despite that, the atmosphere was kind of tense between them and the quiet of the room made the sound of her leather gloves creaking as she balled and loosened her fists obnoxiously loud.
She looked over at him when he cleared his throat and she flashed him another smile, albeit one more awkward than the one before. "Hi, I'm Rogue. I shoulda probably introduced myself earlier," she tried. It was worth a shot and it couldn't have possibly made things more tense. Probably. Hopefully.
