He shrugged out of his button down shirt and set it to the side. It seemed it did depend on whether or not he would go with her and in some other world, he would. In a world where he knew his siblings would be safe from harm and those he cared for in the prison would remain untouched. However, that world didn't exist as it never really had to begin with he assumed. Kneeling on the bed, he moved next to her, this time it was he that was propped up on his side.
"Say I did," he said, almost wanting to believe the notion. "Where would we go?" He asked softly, wanting to hear what she presumed was an ideal destination. He leaned closer as she tilted her head, his lips kissing her neck softly. He breathed her in and she always smelled so delicious, even in the hellish apocalypse they found themselves in. It was rather nice to forget about it for just a moment and pretend there was somewhere that was more suitable for the both of them.
Pulling back, he resorted to his original position the bed next to her. He watched her closely. She wasn't the same girl that he had fallen for. The scared child that she was, the one that believed in love when he could not. It was still a mystery to him how much they had evolved with the changing times, but it was Katherine that had changed the most. It was needed for her survival and it benefited her. He admired it and he admired her.
