"I can't say I'm surprised by that." Although she was a little disappointed. Isaac seemed furtive and edgy. Cora had a much calmer and more rational vibration going on right now. But that was okay. She could babysit this little field trip. She let the silverfish slide off of her finger and onto the coffee table where she trapped it with a glass. He was just going to have to chill out there for a minute.
She walked over to Isaac, completely aware that she was invading his personal space. Tough. He was going to have to get used to it if they were going to go through with it. That was why she was doing it, to warm him up to the idea. She reached out and grabbed his face between her hands and made him look in her eyes.
"If we're going to do this you have to be strong. You can be strong, right?" She asked him following his eyes, drinking his in with hers. She stayed like that until his energy level seemed to sink a little. "There. That's better." She smiled at him as she let him go.
"Cora." She looked over at the girl. "I need you present. You have to keep him under control. He can't wolf out and tear the place apart. Stand behind him and keep your hands on him."
She waited until Cora moved into place. Then she took the knife and she took Isaac's hand in her own. "Are you ready?" She squeezed his hand and waited for him to nod before she jammed the knife into his hand. The blade sliced the flesh cleanly and went all the way through protruding on the other side. "Stay with me, Isaac."
His blood immediately began to fall on the floor in a strange sort of circular pattern. It swirled around as Destiny went back for the silverfish. She jerked the knife free and let the silverfish crawl into the open wound. This was the really painful part, she relied on Cora to keep Isaac pinned as the silverfish wiggled underneath Isaac's skin and made it's way towards his brain. His eyes rolled up into the back of his head and Destiny took a step backwards to let nature take it's course.
