Shooting Isaac a quick, nondescript look at his under the breath question, Cora chose to ignore it in favor of stepping closer towards Destiny. Hales weren't exactly known for being the most trusting trusting, so it was surprising even to her that it was more than desperation that brought Cora to the cottage. She was more that prepared to forgo every single lingering reservation for her brother. If Isaac couldn't do that, she was just as prepared to throw his ass out. She dreamed about that bunker every night, and it was the overkill reminder of the peril Derek was in. A tense ghost of a smile was there and gone in greeting.
Cora was instantly put on edge when Destiny took Isaac's hand and turned it over. Sure, Cora was protective of Isaac, but this had to do more with being concerned for Destiny. Isaac's behavior was erratic at best these days, and scary at worst. Thankfully, all he did was bristle and shove his hand back into his pocket. She puffed out in relief before turning to Destiny again.
"I need a favor," she began hesitantly. "I know I'm not exactly winning any awards in the friend department, but I get the feeling that if I asked for what I'm about to ask for.. you wouldn't take any kind of pay or trade for it." It took more control than Cora thought she had left to sound as level headed as she did, but her voice was laced with worry, and while much calmer than Isaac, her eyes were pleading and desperate. If Destiny were a mirror, Cora could have made herself sick.
"I need to find Derek." She didn't bother saying 'we'. "Wherever he is, Isaac and I might have been there before. We're out of options, and we need to remember. It might be the only thing that can save him. Can you help me again?" She swallowed thickly, and blinked. "Please?"
