Destiny had been trying to search for Shelley again. It was about the hundreth time Roman had asked her to do it since he'd arrived at her cabin looking all lost and tragic. Destiny wasn't her cousin though. She not only knew exactly what Roman was, but she knew that he was headed down a fast track that was going to obliterate his life. Anyone standing in his way or nearby was going to be collateral damage.
Still it broke her heart a little to tell him that Shelley wasn't answering her calls, that it was actually Roman who needed her rather than she who needed Roman. Cora and Isaac couldn't have had better timing.
"Hey, Cora," she said with a small smile before she turned her eyes up to her friend. "This must be Isaac." Of course it was Isaac. "I'm Destiny." She held out her hand but when he reached to shake hers she just grabbed his hand and turned it over so she could get a look at his palm. Huh. That was... different. She made an indifferent noise before letting go of his hand.
"What can I do for you?"
She knew that a lot of things were happening right now. Every little gear and lug-nut contributed to this great beautiful thing called fate. After her talk with Cora she was unsurprised to see her return especially with Derek still missing.
