Allison had only been on sentry duty for about an hour when the shooting started. An hour had seemed like three or four. She wasn't off duty until six AM when she could crawling into Scott's bunk and wake him up with sweet kisses.... and well, maybe a few other things. Her and Scott had basically been attached at the hip since he had come back from Canada for her. The exceptions were when she was on duty or he was on a raid or hanging out with Stiles. While Allison was still a little on edge around Derek the tenuous truce the two of them had made was still in place and she didn't want to do anything to destroy that. Especially now that Derek and Stiles were... together. She was still having a hard time wrapping her mind around that one.
Things with Erica were the status quo. News of her pregnancy had leaked to Allison and she wondered how the teen werewolf would change in the light of being a new mother. Frankly, Allison couldn't picture Erica with a child but she thought that having a baby must change a person. Erica was never really someone Allison had even noticed until Derek had turned her. Then she had noticed her bloodlust for Lydia and later Jackson and then Erica ended up taking the brunt of Allison's psychotic breakdown. The two girls had never gotten along and Allison didn't think they ever would so she simply never tried.
"Hi," she smiled sweetly at Liz Evans as she made her way up into the watchtower. Allison even held the lid open for her and shut it behind her once the other girl was inside. "Thanks," she said as she took the paper bag from Liz. "More Spam?" she asked, wrinkling her nose only a little as she took the sandwich out. Truthfully, she had eaten worse since the apocalypse started. She put the paper bag up on the counter right next to where she kept her guns and crossbow when she was on sentry.
She turned her dark eyes away from Liz only for a second when she caught a glimpse of Buffy below. "What the...." Allison knew that it wasn't a zombie due to the way it was moving. It was a moment too late that Allison saw the giant machine gun that the blonde girl was toting. She cursed and immediately lifted her crossbow and fired off a bolt in Buffy's direction.
Suddenly a force that felt like a freight train slammed into Allison, knocking her flat on her back and forcing the wind from her lungs. At first she was disoriented and unsure of what had happened to her. It wasn't until her fingers strayed towards her ribs where she felt a burning sensation that she realized she was hurt. Sticky red blood clung to her fingertips and a flood of burning hot adrenaline ran through her blood like wildfire.
Oh my God. She had been shot. She tried to form the words to tell Liz that but due to the panic on Liz's face, the other girl already knew. Scott. Where was Scott? A couple of tears squeezed out of the corner of her eye when she realized this must be what dying feels like.
