Faith's look didn't go unnoticed, but Alcide just gave a very small shrug as if saying, hey I had to ask. Because if this came back and bit them in the ass, at least he could say that they checked. Would it have stopped him from trying? No, not really. At this point Alcide was willing to try anything in order to get rid of Dick Roman. He had nothing against the angel, and he didn't really care what Susan or Dick said in the network about this whole thing being his fault. He just wanted to make sure that they weren't walking in blindly into something they wouldn't be able to come back from. Alcide had a feeling the loved ones that they had accumulated in Everett would figure out a way to bring them back to life just to kick their ass if that were to happen.
Faith's disclaimer that this had to stay between the three of them was received with a nod from both of them. Her innocent look made Castiel tilt his head slightly, as if trying to figure out something that he didn't quite understand, and Alcide had to look away momentarily in order to not chuckle at his expression.
"If you need me to take you there without being detected by those on the towers, we can meet in your office. I can take you there."
Alcide passed a hand along his beard as he thought about that plan. He wasn't sure what would raise more suspicion - them disappearing alone, or the two of them being in her office and then suddenly not being able to be found if something were to happen. "Either that or we'll need to figure out a good reason for not being here."
"Yes. Inform me at once if you require my assistance. Until then, be careful. Both of you."
Alcide opened his mouth to say something, but the sound of wings echoed in the room and suddenly the angel was gone. "I swear, I'm never going to get used to that," Alcide mumbled under his breath, turning back to Faith. So, this was it. They were going to discover a weakness. Quite frankly, Alcide was excited about the possibility. He knew that Tyler would probably insist on tagging along, or Caroline in case she caught wind of what they had planned, but no. Faith was right, they had to figure out a way to keep this between them only.
Shit. Sookie. He hesitated for a moment, unsure if Faith knew about what she could do, and he took a chance as he sighed under his breath. "Whatever you do...don't think about this plan around Sookie. Just trust me on that."
If she didn't know about her power, he hoped that she wouldn't ask about it. He already felt as if he was betraying Sookie's trust just with what he had said. "So. You ready for this?"
