"I don't know. I told you, I've never seen it before." Maybe it was Jimmy's palm she was reading. She couldn't imagine a greater love than the one to give up your own life, your own body for something greater than yourself. Even Destiny didn't have all the answers. At the moment she was a little too distracted to give it much thought too. It was a discussion for another time.
She looked down at the pie and felt sick again. Shit. She really should have drank more. She let go of the breath she was holding and pointed at the chair she had just been sitting in. "Pull those two chairs over here and have them face each other. And take off your belt."
He gave her a look. "Just do it."
She grabbed a fork and without letting herself taste it, she started to eat the pie. She shoveled in mouthful after mouthful as much as she could stand before she swigged it all down with the cheap wine. "We have to hurry. It won't last long."
She sat down on the chair and took Castiel's belt. She wrapped it around her waist and around the back of the chair to keep her somewhat in place. She put her hands on the arms of the chair and stared at Castiel who was now sitting across from her. Her eyes went black as her mind rolled back into that other place.
Her fingers curled around the arms of the chair tightly. "They have a weakness," she whispered fervently. "A freak accident. The first September moon." She tilted her head to the side as if she were hearing something that nobody else could hear. "The moon needs the wolf and the death needs a slayer."
