Who: Lissa, Rose, and later Frost What: Kidnapping a vamp and outing a mole Where: Wilderness and then the prison When: Saturday morning Warnings: Frost will be coming into the prison, but no one will realize it is her until after they've identified Val as the mole. Frost will be disguised as Penny by Lissa's spirit.
For some strange reason it seemed that Lissa was the one coming up with the crazy ideas lately instead of Rose. This was hardly the case back when they were at St. Vladimir's. Whether it was running away from school, going to a wild party, or breaking out Viktor from a high security prison on a whim that there he might have known more details about how to save Dimitri when he was still Strigoi. Generally the plans worked even if there were some bumps along the way, but as long as they were together, Lissa didn't have any doubts that they'd make sure this new plan worked just as well as all the others did.
Lissa spent the Friday resting and making sure her strength would high for what she had to do. It was hardly as much spirit as it was when they'd broken into the prison, but this was also different because people knew who Frost was but they just didn't know she would be literally escorted into the prison. The trick with disguising someone with spirit was once they started to get an idea that something was wrong then they would start to catch on quickly. Lissa didn't want to have to compel anyone to forget what they saw, but she would if it was necessary. So far it seemed that Frost was living with Selene and keeping to herself and Lissa didn't want to jeopardize that. The plan was to find the mole and then get her back to Selene's before anyone in the prison realized what was going on.
The prison wasn't on lock down anymore, so they didn't have to sneak out of the prison exactly, but they still needed to be careful. If Dimitri or Christian saw them they would never let either of them leave. Adrian would want to know what was going on and Jill would probably tell Dimitri or Christian what they were doing. She couldn't blame any of them because if one of the others had come up with this idea and tried to go through with it, she would have stopped them herself. With targets on their backs, on her own back, leaving the prison was a lot more dangerous than it used to be.
Walking through the prison, Lissa glanced around to look for Adrian and Penny but they were no where to be found. Good. That meant Penny was distracting him somewhere and they could slip Frost in with her appearance and then Adrian wouldn't come running when he sensed the amount of spirit she would be using. She and Rose met up at Rose's cell and they timed their exit with the sentry shift change. Lissa had already told Christian that she was going to go lay down for a nap. No matter how long they'd lived on a daylight schedule, the Moroi still sometimes slept through the morning hours when none of them had shifts.
Lissa was confident that this was going to work but she was still nervous as Rose signed them out and they left the safety of the prison. Once they were far enough away, she looked over at her friend. "This is going to work right?"
