Time was a fickle thing, really. It could pass by in a moment or drag on for eons. No one knew that better than Setsuna. Technically she was as old as time. And although she missed watching from the far reaches, she was happy she was able to protect Hotaru, here, anyways. She was steeling herself for the time she must use time stop to save her friend, knowing it would take time for her to return to this place. Even she had no idea how long it would take - she'd be back in the outer reaches long before she could return to the planet. It wasn't a fate she was looking forward to but she would embrace it if necessary. Her time here had softened her a bit, once as cold as her patron planet, she was now at least comfortable showing some emotion. Although it came out in little bursts - often when she was defending Hotaru.
She unfurled her hands and called her staff to her, leaning quietly on the key-staff as she stared out at the land surrounding the Prison. Things were quiet for now, which she was thankful for. She hated when things got hectic, keeping tabs on everything got harder. But she was partially lying to herself, she loved the action. Being useful. Defending this planet. It was her life's work - and a very long life's work it was. Maroon eyes reflected the early morning light, making them shine a little brighter than normal. The slight breeze caught the dark green strands of hair, pulling them up from her knees and whipping them around behind her lightly. She could have stood here for days, without moving, and be as comfortable as she was in this instant. Her eyes narrowed, though, for a moment as she heard footsteps behind her. She didn't turn, merely waited. "Hello." she said quietly.
