Cora wasn't entirely sure what kind of person she was, but she could tell that she wasn't all that social. She wasn't sure if it was some sort of attempt to compensate for the sudden (to her) lack of family in her life, but when she spotted Erin on the network, she decided that she needed to start getting better acquainted with the people in the prison. Derek seemed to be about as comfortable as he could get these days with their living situation, and since they weren't going anywhere, the best place to start was with other wolves that lived in the prison. Baby steps, she reminded herself as she sat down on the couch.
She had seen Erin around the prison, and recognized her as a wolf right away. Maybe not in the way that her or her brother were, but she was close to her age, and if there was hope for her forging a friendship, or relating to anyone in her age group, it would probably be with Erin.
Cora glanced up, knowing Erin would walk through the door at any moment. When she finally did, Cora nodded, echoing her greeting. She scooted over on the couch, making room for the girl, and turning at the waist enough to look at Erin when she sat. That's about when Cora realized that she didn't have anything to say. Maybe she didn't know how to 'hang out', and if she ever did, she didn't know. She pulled her leg up onto the couch and rested her elbow on her knee, shaking her hand through her hair. Crap. She needed to say something. "How's it going?"
