Who: Maria and Sif What: Two Warrior Gals Meet When: Today, Afternoon Where: Wilderness Status: Closed, Incomplete
Maria didn't want to admit to it, but she was saddened that Tony had taken Pepper to Canada. She was the first to say that it was probably for the best. Canada was a safe zone and, even if she had been teaching Pepper how to better defend herself, that didn't mean that she would necessarily think to use it. It was probably exhausting for her to be here where, even at the best of times, you had to always be on your guard and making sure that a zombie didn't manage to sneak up on you and tear out your throat, much less any of the other 'issues' that they had faced out here.
So yeah, it was for the best, but that didn't mean that Maria had to like it. She had enjoyed having the other woman out here near her. Maria wondered if things would go better for her in Canada. Sure, no zombies, but there was a slew of other problems, plus she was away from anyone that she might know. At least here, Pepper knew that she had people that she could depend on.
Maria tried not to dwell too much, though. Things would be better if she kept her head clear and not think on the fact that people seemed to leave her here as soon as she got remotely close to them. Not her idea of good. Right now she was treking back to her and Bruce's...no, her home in the wilderness. Of all the things, she had actually gone foraging in the woods, managing to find a few wild berry bushes. Hey, when most of the fruit that you ever got was from old cans, you couldn't help but relish a little when you discovered something fresh that deer hadn't already picked clean.
