Well, she didn't withdraw from him, which was always a nice start. He was still annoyed that people here were afraid of him. It wasn't like he had done anything too bad since he had arrived in Everett to warrant the fear.
"As normal as anything can get with the dead walking around and trying to eat you, I suppose," he remarked. "And it's actually a nice surrounding area, plus free from the vermin that plague this general area because of the sentries," he said, pointing one of them out in one of the towers. "Are you concerned I'm up to something?"
